Did NZ’s most brazen electoral fraud just take place in Papatoetoe?
In court, they opened up 53 wrongfully cast ballots. Fifty of them had gone to the winning side.

Labour will be very happy with this result. #nzpol
New poll on Labour's capital gains tax, from Horizon:

41 percent in favour (21% strongly)
39 percent opposed (25% strongly)
Those 18-35, and 75 plus more oppose; other age groups more in favour.

In NZ context, Labour would surely view a split result, this early, as a positive

Climate messaging fails when it talks about climate. People buy benefits: jobs, manufacturing, cheaper power. My piece in Mumbrella on how to reframe the the conversation around climate change: mumbrella.com.au/how-to-talk-...
How to talk about climate without saying ‘climate’
When most people hear the word “climate”, they don’t think about clean jobs or cheaper energy. They think about cost. They think about policy fights, moralising, and someone else’s agenda. The word ha...

We’ve tested tens of thousands of climate messages at @populares.co

Nobody cares about "net zero" jargon.
People care about jobs, industry and energy independence.

If you’re not talking about that, you’re losing.

My @thenewdaily.bsky.social op-ed 👇 www.thenewdaily.com.au/opinion/2025...
Forget net zero, we need to talk about Australia's next jobs boom
If the past decade of climate politics in Australia was a fight over whether to act, the next one will be a fight over who benefits.

After seeing the ED ward at Wellington hospital last night, it’s a full on crisis.

Jam packed with beds lining the corridors, fully surrounding the ED desks.
NZ's emergency departments are in crisis - partly because they're full of people who can't afford to go to their GP. It's a disgrace. Labour's new Medicard policy is a great way to get things... back on track. #nzpol www.1news.co.nz/2025/09/22/e...
