We are deep into the slippery slope. The only way out is take these murderers out by defunding and voting them out. Every congressperson republican or democrat that fails to do their duty at this moment deserves to be thrown out on their traitorous ass*s.
There is a straight line from the failure of Reconstruction to "We don't need to count everyone's vote in the 2000 election" to "People from places like Madison & Milwaukee aren't real Wisconsinites & shouldn't have their votes count" to "ICE can murder people in cold blood in our cities."

The fact that AOC has to implore her colleagues to not fund ICE shows how useless the elected reps are. If a single democrat votes to fund ICE it’s time for them to be sent home.
AOC: They need 10 Democratic votes in the Senate to pass, continued unfettered ICE funding with no guardrails. Regardless of where you are in the Democratic party, this moment proves that the status quo cannot stand

Hey @governorwalz.mn.gov here’s an idea - repurpose the Minneapolis police force for what they were always meant for - to serve and protect. Have every Minneapolis cop be an observer with their phone recording the Gestapo. Empower the police to arrest ICE thugs when they abuse their power.

Genuine question for folks with a legal background - if law enforcement is allowed to shoot and kill innocent citizens when they claim they are fearful for their lives can lawful citizens do the same?

Anyone that votes for appropriations for the Gestapo needs to be run out of office. We need to ensure voters remember who voted in support of the Gestapo in November.
On the execution in Minnesota: Obviously, the individuals involved should be held accountable. But responsibility goes to the top of ICE and CBP, and DHS. Their appropriations come up next week in the senate. Not a cent for DHS without pulling ICE and CBP off the streets, in MN and everywhere else.

The Democrats are insane to go along with any government funding. Starving hungry people is better than funding ICE to terrorize them AND starving them.
The equation is simple: you can’t afford healthcare anymore because ICE agents are making 6-figure salaries and $50k signing bonuses. The money is not marked for life, liberty or happiness. It is set aside for state suppression.

Here’s the thing whoever replaces Powell in May will be a Trump toady, otherwise he will not nominate them. Of course confirmation they have to say they will remain independent etc. but that will be a farce, just like the Supreme Court nominees that swore that Rowe v Wade was a established law.

What if we gave cops a chance to wash their image - they get to be on the side of the people they serve and wipe the slate clean, in return they fight on behalf of the people against ICE, they block ICE actions and protect citizens. After all their mission is serve and protect.
