Playing FF6, and MGSDelta back 2 back something occurred to me. The more realistic MGS gets the less their anime stories work. It comes off as cringe. I think the same is true for FF. The Tidus laugh scene would’ve totally played as sprites. MGS 1, and 2n3 to extent work because of their abstraction

This night is difficult for me, 2 years ago I woke up around 3am on the 26th w/ an incredible burning in my chest. I didn’t realize how little time I had, but I knew something was wrong. 20 min after arriving at the ER my heart stopped for 10 min. I am so grateful to be alive, but the PTSD persists.

Just completed my first full watch through of all three seasons of Star Trek ToS and all 6 movies. I am now a full on Trekkie. It’s going to be weird watching a new crew on the Enterprise but onto The Next Generation we go!
