A former student of mine who has a bachelor's in econ and math is looking for opportunities. They really enjoy policy and have experience with working on campaigns and canvassing but are also looking into masters and Phd programs. Does anyone have any good recs I can pass along?

What sort of grants are available/worth applying for to stay semi-competitive? I know right now grants are getting dissolved left and right so all that is up in the air anyway, but I want to know what is a reasonable timeline for applying

The state of Georgia is using the body of a brain-dead woman as an incubator. Because she was 9 weeks pregnant when she died, and their abortion ban is from about 6 weeks, they are sustaining her on life support, without input from her family, until 32 weeks of gestation. A true dystopian nightmare.

Someone recommended color coding so that it was clearer where everything goes because it is a bit cramped. I think this does look nicer. I hope I don't have any mistakes in it... #math #teachingMath #MathEducation #calculus
