We are a few weeks away from a modern version of “Antony offering Caesar a crown” to gauge the crowds comfort level of returning to a monarchy. The question isn’t if it’ll happen but who will be the traitor to America to do so.

Using terms like “opposition forces” and “rebels” to describe groups in Syria, by media and journalists, is pretty disingenuous. There are too many players to just paint them all with such a wide brush stroke. Maybe descriptions like “Turkish-backed rebels” or “Sunni Islamist forces.”
