We are watching one of the wildest things a nation-state has ever done: A superpower is committing suicide because the GOP Congress is too cowardly to stand up to the Mad King.

This is one of the wildest moments in all of geopolitics ever.

This is pure, unabashed bigotry.

If a politician said this about any other faith, they would rightfully be run out of their party.

But this kind of despicable anti-Muslim rhetoric is so normalized that a sitting Senator uses it without consequence.

A stain on our Congress.

Today is an especially important and hard day to remember the life of MLK Jr. Our government has never cared less for civil rights, but the people are rising up to peacefully protest in a way that's heartening. I can only hope we live up to the legacy of MLK, and heal our democracy.

Also, I don't understand why I'm just now seeing trailers for Return to Silent Hill, since it's out in about a week. That said, I'm beyond intrigued it's by the same director who did Les Pact De Loups. I'm tentatively very excited to see it

The strangest part of our cursed timeline is that I finally have an appreciation for South Park. Always thought they were crude, but somehow they're a perfect vehicle to mock our current villainous administration. So I guess I like them? Weird.

Was hungry and wanted something other than noodles or leftovers for lunch. So I made an egg sandwich with quickie guacamole, red onion and shallot. Also had a side of potato salad. Pretty good!

I now feel wholly justified in my impulse buying Puzzle Quest on PSP after playing it. Just as fun as I remember, but the sound design seems stronger than on Nintendo. Perfect game for when I need to kill some time away from home.
