New next door neighbour stuck his head out the door while I was unloading the last load of the cottage closing perishables. We haven't met before now, and I suspect he wondered why I didn't stop to introduce myself.

Made sure I took her to The Duke for fish & chips, Cape Spear to see the ocean, Petty Harbour to see a bay.
There's more to mentoring than just the work. Teaching life/work balance on the road is important too.

Exhausted when I went to bed last night, after a week of travel. A trail of clothes left, as I stumbled there. The cat quickly jumped in behind me, as usual.

This is a well-seasoned 10" Misen carbon steel pan. Used it to cook pizza tonight. Did not stick at all. (I did put a thin coating of basil-infused olive oil before using.)
I've had it for 3 or 4 years and love it.

Am I making a little fun of my ex-wife? Yes. It's a running gag with my daughter, who finds her mom to be an ongoing well-meaning hazard.

Another asked for advice on correcting someone they suspected was agreeing to something they shouldn't be. He was right. It was going to end badly.

Everything is set up for his new high-fibre diet. I don't expect her to add any laxative to his food, so hopefully the fibre in his food alone keeps him regular.

I enjoyed watching the Grey Cup tonight.
I know it seems like such a small event, especially when compared to the NFL.
But it's not a joke league.
The players who won were ecstatic. So were their fans. It's a huge deal to them.
And Trevor Harris finally winning the Cup at 39 is a great story.
