New MLB licensing agreements with NBC, ESPN, and Netflix. Seems like it'll be tedious to watch some games.
Also I guess no more Roku games, getting rid of my favorite presentation.
I get why it happens this way (money) but it's more stuff to keep up with than we need.

Since there are no LIHEAP funds because of the shutdown, about half of the Energy Assistance Workers have been placed on leave without pay with benefits.
(I am not an Energy Assistance Worker, for the record. But this is still bad and I hate it.)

Another work update: LIHEAP payments are also on hold until the federal government shutdown ends.
So people who would qualify to receive assistance to pay their heating bills cannot receive it, but the president can have part of The White House destroyed to build a ballroom. (1/2)
