The smoke then heated up, flame followed and more. Then the bright orange and yellows soon darkened to a deep red before a laser shot out and barely missed the spider by mere inches.
The thing huffs before tendrils sprouted out from its back lifting itself up to stabilize. Then it takes aim again.
