Tyranny requires your fear, your silence, and your compliance.

Democracy requires your courage.

My heart hurts. 💔
Oof.

Listening to this Biden farewell address, and, man am I going to miss normalcy in the Oval Office.

So many people have tried to tear this fundamentally decent man down, and it’s absolutely maddening.

I recently had to get a background check to get a 5-week freelance gig. If I was a convicted felon or adjudicated sexual abuser, I probably wouldn’t get the job.
I wish I lived in a country where people actually vetted the people they vote for.

And don’t forget this too, children, you can sexually abuse women and defame them and still be President of the United States of America.
"Children, I want this to be an important lesson to you. If you do bad things, like break the law—even a lot—you are going to have to pay the consequences: nothing. Well, other than getting your job back. Because those are the rules in America, a land that cherishes justice."

The world was blessed to have him for 100 years. ♥️
RIP President Jimmy Carter, another bit of light stripped away from our very dark world.

A president with empathy.
Biden: I promise you, the day will come when the memory of your loved one.. will bring a smile to your lips before a tear to your eye. It will take time. But I promise you, I promise you, it will come. It will take time. My prayer is that that day comes sooner rather than later

Colonel Mustard gave up on the over-production of the Golden Globes. Banter, geolocations, camera angles, voice overs, talent trivia did him in.

It's it odd that women's rights vary state-by-state, whereas men's rights are the same throughout the country?

It's *almost* as if men are given preferential treatment.

I’m sorry for those who were killed or injured. But I must admit, the irony does not escape me. Omen of what’s to come?

Makes a good gag gift. It truly makes you want to gag.
As phony as a two dollar bill.

Nothing better than putting on your ski jacket for the first time since last winter and finding a $20 bill in the pocket. It’s like winning the lottery. And makes you an oligarch next to Rudy.
I found two $1 bills in a pair of jeans I just washed, making me richer than Rudy Giuliani.

When you think of a Christian, don't think of what MAGA has distorted that word to mean; think of Jimmy Carter, the kindest President America has ever had. #RIPJimmyCarter

Biden: Jimmy Carter lived a life measured not by words, but by his deeds. Just look at his life. He worked to eradicate disease not just at home, but around the world. He forged peace, advanced civil rights, human rights.. He built housing for the homeless with his own hands

Jimmy Carter spent decades advocating for universal healthcare, believing no one should go without care in the richest country on Earth. His vision is more urgent than ever—it’s time we honor his legacy by making it a reality. #UniversalHealthcareNow

Voters are unhappy with a government they feel does not deliver for them. Unfair voting maps are part of why Washington too frequently does not work.
Gerrymandering Decided House Control
Unfair maps helped the GOP win a razor-thin majority.

Throw away your plastic cutting board. They shed microplastics into your food once they look like this. Use wooden cutting boards only.
