Ahem, there is a Lyft driver that I now adore. When I told him I had “sexy thing” by Hot Chocolate on my phone, he said, give me your phone.
In 5 seconds he had hooked up my phone to his car & we went to my hotel blasting You Sexy Thing full volume.

I went to the beach. And here I remain. I’m shocked at how empty it is. There’s a woman taking selfies by the surf, there’s a non-dancing dance music party a ways away, and I realize I am an old fart in a young city at 630 pm
