1st go at the head for my Golden Demon attempt. Think I’ve got some more glazing and blending to do. It sucks I think it looks really amazing in person but photos aren’t capturing it.

My crusade ancient conversion
I like the official model and how it adapts a general marine role to the way black templars work, but I already had a bladeguard ancient body spare, and making the giant crusade shield seemed like it'd be fun

People who have entered Golden Demon… how important do you think the big, diorama bases/plinths are for your entries? I’m going to Adepticon and I’d like to enter, but
A) traveling with that seems like a nightmare
B) making that sort of thing isn’t a strength of mine
