A lot of white libs see themselves as leftists while ignoring what leftism really is. All the stuff he's espousing is bare minimum at this point and mostly because public opinion has shifted on ICE as it should. It's not just cringe, it's a refusal to engage in real theory.

tbf the 40k setting is just. Varying degrees of awfulness which is fun in its own way and even my man Abelard isn't exactly morally good either. I had fun though playing a fully dogmatic Rogue Trader and cosigning the space fascism as her character
