I’ve been struggling to mentally make space to work on more than one hobby lately and I want to be doing more creative stuff but I’m also a lil burnt out and exhausted 😭

Slowly coming out of my introvert shell to try and make quilty friends and share my hobby. Starting to socialize more in online spaces and even make some in person quilt friends!

Rahhhhh re-reading Wicked for the first time in ages has me feeling all the feelings. I remember why this book was sorta foundational for me at one point in my life.

The AIDS quilt is such a striking example of quilting and other traditionally feminized crafts as radical queer politics and I hope this encourages people to learn more about the rich history of protest textiles in the US.
