Blocking accounts you know to be consistently wrong, needlessly inflammatory and/or deliberately rage-bating is neither "hiding from the truth" nor "censorship", it is clearing the field so you can have properly constructive conversations with people whose opinions may differ from yours.
Discernment means always being skeptical, always checking the veracity of something - if you think it means deciding "so-and-so is trustworthy without proof and assuming everything they say is the truth" then you ARE THE PROBLEM.

My favourite thing lately is people claiming I have "Trump Derangement Syndrome" - as if the correct response to him (and others like him) ISN'T to be disgusted and pissed off to the point of derangement. I proudly claim that label, there is a very valid and obvious reason for it. 👍

Don't worry, Elon will adjust Grok by the morning. Within 6 months Grok is simply going to be an answer machine that replies to inquiries just like Elon would, but with more personality.

Hungary + Slovakia have been desperately wanting to have friction with Ukraine in one form or another for a few years now. They have been creating problems constantly. This is the #1 reason they still buy Russian oil. So, Ukraine decided, smartly, to give them what they wanted on Ukraine's terms. 😁

Any platform, app or AI system that uses algorithmic manipulation (which is most of them) to boost its bottom line is NOT "Free Speech", it is a business model created for profit. Business Models are the antithesis of Free Speech. Do not be fooled.

A perfect illustration of how western companies and governments do things for Ukraine. This Canadian grocer changed the way their Chicken Kyiv was spelled, which was awesome, yet I have tried a few times but cannot get them to change the shelf label in their system. Half-assed all the way! 🙄🙄🙄

Having a news/opinion source you trust does not mean you can repeat what they say immediately - you should still apply basic logic and reason to it and maybe compare it to other sources or opinions. If you are simply hitting "share" or verbally repeating it without any thought, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM.

Free Speech is a concept where people are 1) Free to speak 2) Free to be heard + 3) Free to hear reaction, positive and negative, to their speech. Algorithmic manipulation of any parts of Free Speech by platforms is a business model, and the more manipulation being done, the less Free the speech is.
