Love to cook and throw parties for friends and family. Never met an animal I didn’t like. Refusing to let a stage 4 de novo breast cancer diagnosis in 2022 slow me down, because I have great treatment and I’m incredibly stubborn. Also, fuck cancer.
Even if the Tesla board appoints a new CEO the brand is absolutely toxic.
I hope Wall Street has figured out two things:

1. Trump is a disaster for the U.S. economy.
2. There is no price at which many of us would ever buy a Tesla. I wouldn't take it for free with a $5,000 rebate.

I think they have an inkling of the first but are still in denial about the second.

Today, in a meeting at the White House, the only person actually defending American interests was Zelenskyy.

Let that sink in.

More Jasmine Crockett, please!
Crockett: "Down in Alabama, who's broke. Down in Louisiana, who's broke. I can go through pretty much the entire south and tell you that they're broke and rely on a lot of welfare from the government. To be perfectly honest, it is tax dollars from these big blue states...we're in the find out phase"

Breaking news: The Trump administration cut billions in biomedical funding. Researchers say it imperils work on cancer and other illnesses.
NIH cuts billions of dollars in biomedical funding, effective immediately
The move halts a large slice of money for most universities and research institutions virtually overnight, imperiling vital research in everything from cancer to heart disease.

Can’t think of a bigger 🖕🏼 to the cancer community than advancing the confirmation of this POS on World Cancer Day.
Cancer treatment and disease research save countless lives. On World Cancer Day, GOP senators appear ready to install a man who wants to gut NIH, the world's largest health research funder.

As a survivor, I’ll do all I can to continue to fund cancer research.

@democrats.org please explain why there is not a united front against every single cabinet picks? This shouldn’t be difficult.
16 Democratic senators recently voted to confirm the Trump-appointed Treasury Secretary who just gave Musk’s team access to a Treasury payment system that disburses trillions and holds mass quantities of personal information. Food for thought. www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

Yeah, how about not dissolving the air safety advisory commission at the FAA. As your team did last week.

MAGA goons “educating” the rest of the world about how the avian flu is to blame for egg prices being high (complete with eye rolling emojis) is peak 2025 stupidity.

This seems so obvious.
Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.

Happy #Caturday from our most recent rescue, Margo! In October we found her starving, cold, and filthy near the coffee shop where our son works. Today, she is headed to her forever home; happy, healthy, loved, and safe. We’ll miss her!!! 💕

Hello, BlueSky! I joined awhile back and immediately took a social media break. Whoops. But I also decided to pick up my sourdough baking habit again! Not bad for a first loaf.
If you love cooking, baking, reading, animals, bad language, and heavy snark, we’ll get along fine.
