I will ship anywhere in the contiguous United States for winners of the items! At $1/per chance, everyone has an opportunity to enter to win some really fabulous art pieces #reproductivehealth #fundraiser #Alabama #grassroots

They burned Black Wall Street to the ground.

Then they banned the books.

Today, they’re still trying to erase the truth.

We remember Tulsa. And we fight for the future.

There are 2 previous historical cases of countries destroying their science and universities, crippling them for decades: Lysenkoism in the USSR and Nazi Germany. The Trump administration will be the 3rd.
It's not just budgets but research, institutions, expertise, and training the next generation.

They are also loved and adored by all. #alpolitics

“Trans stuff.”
That’s the language now being used to justify book bans in Alabama libraries.

Not just moving books.
Not just restricting access.
Complete removal.

This isn’t parental rights.
It was never about the kids.
It’s just censorship.

Semi-regular reminder for those who want to make the "Alabamians deserve this" argument:

-- Many Alabamians didn't vote for this;
-- Many Alabamians didn't vote, period;
-- Many Alabamians didn't vote because they have few choices and the state doesn't make voting easy.

Alabama library directors are being told:
Censor your collections or lose federal funding.

This isn’t protecting kids.
It’s using public money to force public silence.
A soft authoritarianism dressed up as “parental rights.”
