Every day around 6:30pm, a modded Nissan 370Z drives up my street, so every day around 6:30pm, I get a reminder that the VQ V6 sounds like trash.

The P-51A / Mustang Mk I is the coolest Mustang. I will not be taking questions.
Another Mustang in The Hangar is this Mustang Mk. I of RCAF 430 Squadron. Identifiable by the guns in the nose as well as wings. This Allison powered Mustang's excellent range and low-level performance led to it being fitted with an oblique camera for use in the army co-operation role.

I finally finished up this 1/72 Hasegawa Heinkel He-51! This one presented quite a few challenges, but that’s not surprising given that this kit was originally tooled in 1970! This aircraft represents one that served with the Condor Legion during the early months of the Spanish Civil War.

Isn’t this literally a plot point in the Martian? Were they trying to rescue Mark Watney? WELL WERE THEY!?
"There were certainly things we could’ve done to test it and actually fire it. They would’ve been very time-consuming and very costly,” Mike Hansen, the company’s head of navigation systems, told Reuters in an interview on Saturday.

What a goddamned waste.
the odysseus moon lander's mission will be cut short. it landed sideways because the company operating it skipped, on purpose, an expensive preflight check on the pad

I’ve always liked the R55 with its weirdo barn doors. This one looks especially correct with a roof rack and phone dials.
