this is very typical of the district Council's IT usability: if you upload too many hires scans of your documents, it freezes the application process. But nowhere do they tell you what the size limit is! Time telling the Council this: 4 years.
it’s not bad at all, good value when you are spending the day on the go, however, it can be a bit of a lottery in terms of the behaviour of the punters on the neighbouring tables, many of whom have no idea how to behave in public ..
desk for the morning; they’ve got these nice chairs and these old stylie sash windows, it’s a great table right by the window, but sadly all the tables with power sockets are already occupied. Shedloads of people are working from Spoons, these days.

#Henley on Thames 1037 GMT
In the teeming rain, a woman comes to feed the swans and the geese at the side of the River Thames, her lovely dog is not at all scared of the swans.

Yeah, this.
God bless The Church Flower Ladies and Gentlemen, who beautify the Lord’s house, up and down the Kingdom.
I am very disappointed that people are doing culture wars on this, and I’m also very irritated by the people arguing that this doesn’t matter. I think there’s a certain amount of unconscious misogyny at play - it is actually an important part of the life of the church with a considerable impact.

In and Out at #Newtown Car Wash in #Henley on Thames was £25 today - in 2013, I was paying £40 at this same venue. I guess the present business proprietors are not increasing prices just because it’s a posh town

I delivered groceries to my mom, 4 blocks north of the Cathedral, but it was clear I couldn't get any closer, so I'm home watching the livestream. I'm amazed at how the walk for peace has moved people in such numbers.

Monks live now w/Dean Randy and Bp. Mariann! ⚓ www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5lb...

The neighborhood north of the Cathedral was absolutely gridlocked an hour ago w/people trying to get there around the snowbanks. People were flowing from all around in Flower Mart-like numbers.

it reminds me of #MaundyThursday!
“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
this is not normally my kind of thing, but I’ve always liked this tea towel, left out drying in the church kitchen today. The slogan is GOD LOVES A DRYER

Came out of the brilliant Design and Disability exhibition at the V&A to a bus stalled by a knackered ramp.

could sense my friend for whatever reason, did not want to have this conversation, so in I went to the ante room, completely unprepared.

The Lord.
He really does move in mysterious ways.
today, in the Lord’s house: the randomest thing. The first day of some feather flags outside on the man road: “Welcome! Come in.” A fella did actually come in, and I spent the service talking with him in the ante room, about Jesus. in a lifetime of churchgoing, this has never happened to me before

Any ideas, Bluesky?

I can do all of England - and Wales - but sadly struggle a bit with Scotland. Sigh. At myself. If you ever got in it my #taxi and wanted to go to the parish of Compton Beauchamp, though, or the Ruskin School of Fine Art - I am your man.
This is pretty similar to what you have to do, to get a taxi licence @peternimmo.bsky.social where in the Vale you have to label parish names on a map - wholly different from reality of taxi driving of course - and in the City you have to label - for example - where the Ruskin School of Fine Art is
Pretty sure that @jonnelledge.bsky.social has set my daughter’s homework this weekend. Although it doesn’t come with a long explanation about why, actually, some of these aren’t really counties so maybe he hasn’t.
