Two weeks ago I had a gout flair up. I couldn't walk or put any pressure on that foot. Last week I caught a cold of some description that's been holding up in my chest, making breathing difficult.
Today my foot is still sore, but manageable. My cold is almost gone.
I can finally be in the gym.

I made pasta e fagioli, one of Jo's favorites. I really took my time with this one. Soaked the beans overnight, used fresh veg from the farmer's market, a homemade chicken stock I spent the day on... A labor of love, really.

My mum-in-law's cooking is pretty good and I always appreciate a meal from her, but making my own meals is really good. It's become therapeutic for me to take time out of constant stress of today's world and just be in my own energy and making meals for myself and Jo.
