This is entirely down to the HDMI Forum, who blocked AMD from supporting 2.1 on their Linux drivers. There's nothing Valve can do until HDMI changes that decision, please point your pitchforks at the people responsible

HDMI Forum Rejects Open-Source HDMI 2.1 Driver Support Sought By AMD
One of the limitations of AMD's open-source Linux graphics driver has been the inability to implement HDMI 2.1+ functionality on the basis of legal requirements by the HDMI Forum

It's not cheap, but the Pwnage Ambi is pretty sick, you can change which side the side buttons are on, making it left or right handed at any time, neat if other people ever use your computer

I'm a Serious Gamer(TM) and I've fallen in love with the G-Wolves HSK Pro for FPS, feels like I'm aiming with my actual hand instead of a mouse. But I feel like I need to get a vertical mouse for casual desktop use tbh

Seems the new Death Stranding trailer has brought the 'Kojima is too weird and needs an editor to cut his wackier ideas' crowd.

We need more Kojimas. Dozens! Not hammering down the one we have.

Non-console #gamedev often ask how to get started with gyro controls given that most engines don't support them out of the box.

This looks like a great way to go! Thanks, @agentottsel.bsky.social !
Introducing JoyShockLibrary4Unreal!

I've been working on an Unreal plugin that adds native support for PS and Switch controllers, including gyro! It's based on
@jibbsmart.com's JoyShockLibrary, and integrates into Unreal's existing input events.
