I think we're getting at similar points from different angles. I don't usually see people looking for honest-to-god friendshipts with the dishonesty and manipulation in the lead. THAt is the thing I think would should change for relationships to be successful and the lesson I'd take from friends.

I combat this by going into full homie mode. Complete with “bruhs”, fuckin my food up when we out to eat and mentioning crushes/men who like me. If they plotting they get ghost quick! I’ve been duped too many times to blindly trust a man’s friendship

I think the stigma of being a 25+ woman that isn’t married yet plays a big role in rushing marriage too. Women have been conditioned to believe they’re decrepit at 30. In reality tho, some of the happiest, most beautiful women I know are over 30, unmarried and living gorgeous lives.
