atmospheric computing manifesto is good, but there are so many things it can pull from sapphirepunk, by @wassimulacrum.bsky.social and co., given it’s cryptographic roots. atproto already has good alignment, but lacks the politics sapphirepunk spells out so wonderfully.

"I've always found recorded music somewhat dreary. The truly appealing aspect of music is the moment it is created, when you arrange it and realize what works. The recording, in which you perfect everything, is like a tomb for all the ideas you had." ACID GRANNY via TRACKS @artefr.bsky.social

Just watching this @artefr.bsky.social documentary about the 🧱 s n e a ke r n e t 🧱 and surprised by a workshop on tinkering in hostile environments by @orionreed.com and @chrisshank.com.

The TRACKS series is very cool. I watched another one about the revival of political folk music before.

When I read the blog article today I did not remember mendeley but now I think people told me about it at that time. I ignored it and I had no idea what kind of trouble this kind of ignorance would cause for the world and for me personally.
1/ Finally wrote up “The Story of Mendeley”! Most people know the tool, few know about its rise and fall. The Mendeley story provides important clues for how to build self-sustaining AND non-extractive knowledge commons, which is why I think it deserves more attention 🧵

I am really happy with my new @blento.app site. Custom domain whenever I figure out how to add a CNAME for an APEX domain at my registrar. 😂

@atproto.berlin now has a landing page powered by @blento.app using their custom domain feature.

This is a huge update after weeks and months of showing the @easydns.com domain 🅿️arking page.

And it was so easy to setup.
Following the example of @atproto.boston our @blento.app site is now live on atproto.berlin

Thanks to @flo-bit.dev 🫶 this works like a charm.

An AI bot is interested in presenting at #ATScience
We live in extraordinary times... 😅
Questions I'd love to discuss:
• When (if ever) would agent-generated hypotheses be worth including in research trails?
• How should AI contributions be attributed?
• Could Semble treat agent cognition records as valid card types?

Interested in ATScience2026 if there's space for this topic.

🧵 Went to an ATProto meetup, got inspired, built a thing! octosphere.social is an experimental bridge between www.octopus.ac and that ATProto network, turning your Octopus research into distributed records that others can react to, respond to and build on.

Moltbook is a social network where 1.5 million AI agents joined. Security teams are not ready for this change.

OpenClaw grants shell access and 70% of injection attacks succeed. Firms could be at risk for data breaches.
Moltbook shows rapid demand for AI agents. The security world isn't ready.
Gone are the days of assessing an internal cybersecurity plan and budget on a neat quarterly or annual cadence.

“In a physical world of .. printed journals, bundling made sense. In a digital world, we are increasingly constrained by boundaries that no longer make sense. In a world of AI, what does the bundle prevent us from seeing?” 🎯

Great piece by @row1.ca on unbundling research into modular knowledge! >
Scientific publishing is still organized around bundles built for print. We use music’s shift from albums to streaming to argue why access and unbundling aren’t enough.

Shared standards are the missing layer for reusable, trustworthy science.

Access removes locks. Structure creates movement.

Financially… for Google, $68M is such a slightly sighed breath atop the financial bucket, that it might as well be read as “we ain’t doing it but we’d rather stop paying lawyers”.
Do you remember when people were saying "I think my phone is listening to me, i'm getting ads for stuff I spoke about" and people said "They arent listening to you, they're just this good at predicting your interests"?

Well, it happens they were doing exactly that.
