This is cool, I was hoping there would be some more recognizable names on Shelton’s staff who had good MLB careers, in addition to LaTroy.
It might also really piss off both White Sox and Guardians fans, so that’s an added bonus.

What I’d like to see next:
1) Just pretend the Craig era never happened. Let that exist as its own saga. Continuity is not necessary for this franchise.
2. Bring back some camp! Bond films didn’t used to take themselves so seriously. Have fun with the next couple films and then reassess.

LaTroy never stopped developing as a player and has carried that forward. He got a Bachelor’s degree is Sociology just this year. He’s also worked with the amateur levels of Team USA Baseball the past few years.
This gets an A++++ for me. Hawk is The Man. I’m pumped.

Can’t fault the Twins for outrighting Jose Miranda, but I could see him getting back on track with a fresh start elsewhere.

If the Twins roll with Brooks Lee at shortstop, any talk of prioritizing defense is just lip service. Could make a similar argument in regard to Luke Keaschall at second.
Those guys are passable at those positions, it’s just difficult to see how you’d build an above-average D with that MIF.

Hearing that former Padres manager and Twins bench coach Jayce Tingler has agreed to join Tony Vitello's staff in San Francisco. Tingler and Vitello were college teammates at Missouri and have remained close friends, so this is a very predictable outcome.
