Another thing I've been thinking about lately is flies. This could apply to any other decomposer, really, but there's something beautiful about it- they live off of death, and are a very good prey themselves. It's like a forest fire, it's like us.

New #moon arrives at 6:47 UTC tomorrow morning, or overnight tonight in the Americas. We can't see the moon from Earth now, as its unlit side faces us in the daytime sky. But the GOES-19 satellite can! That's the moon at lower right, lit by reflected light from Earth.

This is Calappa, the same crab that I made a pumpkin of (next skeet) and one of bluesky's favorite crabs. Not only does it run funny, it has an adorable face and its claws are specialized like a can opener for snails 🦀🦑

Becoming quite nervous about them
Okay yeah I've gotta figure out where you are. Sorry, I thought giving a task would solve the "no tasks" problem.
We at Meeple appreciate your patience. Please report any issues to getsupport.meeple.com.

This is what the band of the Milky Way would look like at night if your eyes could see radio waves. A hidden beauty.

It's a new image created by the Murchison Widefield Array, which scanned the sky in 20 radio "colors" over frequencies from 72 to 231 megahertz. 🧪🔭
