I'm watching How to Get Away With Murder, having finished Scandal. The fantasy of these shows isn't that they portray Black women as powerful and competent, but that the people around these women would do anything for them. Unending loyalty and support. Near worship. Ride or (literally) die! Unreal!

I went clubbing with some Muay Thai folks last night and it was such a breath of fresh air. No one asked me about my writing once. I forgot what that felt like!

Say what you want about the big light, I got a lot of work done today that I'd been procrastinating. I don't need ambiance, I need results

I stopped watching a show I really liked because one of my favorite cast members died young. I think I'm gonna return to the show now.

Believe it or not, the first Mo*Con was in 2006 making this year its 20th Anniversary! We can’t let that achievement go uncelebrated, so we’re bringing back some old friends and welcoming some new ones! Mo*Con 2026 runs April 30th (coincidentally my birthday) through May 2nd.

Something inside me told me to wait until at least a few episodes were out, because I had a feeling they were gonna do this. I did not listen and now must suffer a week! (I will not learn my lesson.)
My review of S2 E1 of The Pitt is when the credits rolled after that cliffhanger I threw up my hands and shouted WHAT THE FUCK (complimentary).
