The Muldoon super comparison is apt I think. There’s risk of freight and logistics logjams and high shipping costs flowing on for years, which will be stubbornly unfixable and directly attributable to this one big decision.

As I’m fairly new here, I wanted to share a major project that we published earlier this year

It’s a months-long deep dive into the devastating impact of 14-years of Conservative austerity policies on a city and its people

This is Austerity City
Liverpool: Austerity City
How 14 years of Conservative-led cuts have damaged a city and its people

Also don't interview her. Don't think you're getting a gotcha. Just outline who she is, what she says and does, and then ignore her. RCR and The Platform are no doubt going to have her on.

I get this but imo we shouldn't buy into Seymour's framing.

What I'd insist on is that this has nothing to do with individual rights; it's one party to an agreement that set up this country trying to change the deal unilaterally. As unconstitutional as if the US federal gov tried to abolish states.
David Seymour keeps saying, “The challenge for people who oppose this bill is to explain why they are so opposed to those basic principles of equal rights [the same rights and duties, the right to self-determine].”

Can we crowdsource (bluesource?) a collection of simple explanatory points?
