@freeagentapp.bsky.social is your onboarding flow broken? I can't see any way to "complete" the last two items. No matter how many times I follow those two top links, the actions remain and the flying start banner persists.

As much as Act 3 is occasionally kicking my ass, Hollow Knight Silksong is easily the most fun I’ve had playing a video game in a long time. So much character, inventiveness and attention to detail wrapped up in wonderfully balanced gameplay mechanics.

DHH's politics are not normal. Maybe they used to be, I don't know, but as of right now the dude is_way outside of what most people would consider moral or acceptable.

@rhiannon.io 's entire thread here, honestly. Ruby Central lost the plot here and has made a lot of bad calls, but hopefully this can serve as a catalyst to restoring it to what it should be.

Brandon is right. Ruby Central needs broader funding to avoid even more consolidation of power in the Ruby ecosystem. I for one am committing to do my part.
RE: Ruby Central funding, and a consolidation of power with companies like Shopify.
For years now the lead funder of Ruby and Rails initiatives has been Shopify, full stop. They've contributed heavily in both time and money, and through that have left a substantial impact on Ruby and Rails.

Ages ago, when I was still a student, I taught myself Ruby on Rails for my senior thesis and fell in love. Fifteen years later, and I’ve used Rails at every job I’ve ever held in the tech industry. Fifteen years, and I still love Rails! But there’s something rotten at its core, and we share a name.

Built on top of Herb's HTML-aware ERB parser to bring diagnostics, instant feedback, and structural awareness to HTML+ERB files.
Still early. Feedback is very much welcome!

We're living through the Who Cares Era, where completely disposable things are shoddily produced for people to mostly ignore, while the government stomps its uncaring boot on our necks. But there's an easy way to fight back: Care.
