One thing I actively despise about conducting any business back home in Missouri is people _insist_ on phone calls for everything, so much so I should just change my voice mail to say email or text me as I will not take calls during the day.

The more I work with Ruby the more I am inclined to turn off autoloading and explicitly require things. Really, the more I'm inclined in general to be explicit about things.
What is simple in the early days becomes a tax of trying to trace down what and where something is.

Rubyfmt 0.12 is out! This release is a big deal. We entirely removed ripper and replaced it with Prism. This means Rubyfmt no longer needs to compile against Ruby at all. This work wouldn't have been possible without the hard work of Reese, and as a bonus treat we now have: rubyfmt.run

On the list of petty things I have done is grabbing the `bw` gem entirely for vanity, but also to start putting all the little tools and snippets I keep on collecting into one gem that I can just install and have a kit to play with:

Sounds like Ruby is going 4.0 for Christmas this year. Wonder what the final breaking change was that got it over the line for a major bump.
