At the Roman site of Olbia (pleiades.stoa.org/places/471987) near Arles (France), archaeologists have found hundreds of burials where funeral pyres facilitated cremated remains of persons and then were turned into tombs on the site of the pyre 🔥 . www.inrap.fr/pratiques-fu...

Truly gorgeous, both these buildings - I love to see them when I come out of Kings Cross and walk down the road. #CBM #brick
I always mean to take photos of this, but always forget - I rather like the design of the British Library and how it compares and contrasts to the fabulously opulent St Pancras hotel...

Always makes me smile when I come out of Kings Cross St Pancras station.

Lovely glazed #bricks too!
It is that time of year when people start posting #BadAncient memes about Easter. So, to recap like we do each year - Easter has nothing to do with the the goddess Ishtar.

www.badancient.com/claims/easte...
Is Easter named after Ishtar?
Are the Easter celebrations somehow based on the ancient worship of the goddess Ishtar?
