I'm not trying to be flippant because these are deadly serious questions, but the answer to the GOP nullifying votes in a fair election is secession and political violence. At that point, you've exited the limits of electoral politics as our democracy will have fully collapsed.
And again yes, the House dissolves & there is a new one. And again, when the GOP House majority refuses to allow that on invented grounds of fraud & JD Vance refuses to seat newly elected D Senators, what is the plan? Yes, these may be low probability events...and again, what is the plan?
Who will stop Mike Johnson & J.D. Vance from refusing to accept the credentials/certified election results from Reps & Senators in blue states in Jan 2027? This is a sincere question. Nothing we've seen so far suggests Article I is operating to constrain Trump at all

Saying there must be trials isn't just an emotive aspiration.
Congress can:
- Create a new court (complying w/ 6A jury vicinage)
- Give it jurisdiction over defined category of crimes
- Also create dedicated prosecutors for the same
- Strip SCOTUS of appellate jurisdiction
It can be done.
Congress can:
- Create a new court (complying w/ 6A jury vicinage)

Reminder: All it would take to end the murder of American citizens by an untrained government goon squad is 16 Republicans in Congress voting with Dems to defund ICE (or 23 to impeach and remove Trump — 3 in House & 20 in Senate). That’s it. 23 Americans can vote for the public and end all of this.
