You pivot to a more defensive play pattern until you have enough bodies to make Overrun lethal with Fynn, and players don’t really want to attack into a board of deathtouchers while you set up or recover from set backs.

The trick to the deck is how to break through a clogged board after killing the one player, and that’s overruns.

Not at all. Sure the deck will fold if the commander is targeted with 3 removal spells, but that’s most commander centric decks.
I play cheap protection spells that also give trample, as they pull double duty to keep the deck resilient while letting me punch through blockers.

As a person with a Fynn deck that’s a menace I’m inclined to disagree. No harm in exploring new shades of the format.
