Like, even if it’s not game winning just treat it like a green boardwipe and force a player to nuke their life total or trade most their board in the mid game.

As someone who had a passing interest in generative learning technology a few years ago, it’s extremely lame to see what parts of it hit the mainstream.

I still play ramp in most decks, but generally it’s a dual purpose of color fixing/synergy + skipping ahead of the curve in addition to curving out and hitting land drops.

Couple years ago it was pointed out to me that if you miss a land drop but cast a mana rock, you’re just paying mana for a land drop and it completely changed my outlook.

1 Commander
60 Spells
39 Lands or Land Equivalents
Unless there’s a specific ask from the deck to go up lands.

If I play less then 37 lands (minimum) the MtG gods personally descend and hand me only hands with 0-2 lands until I fix my mistake.
