Does anyone else miss when Tony Romo gave good insight in game and didn’t jock ride to the levels of Cris Collinsworth? The 2-3 seasons of Tony in the booth were awesome, what happened?

Vaccines don’t prevent infection. Vaccines are meant to produce immunological memory and antibody production, so that when you get infected, your immune system can rapidly respond to eliminate the pathogen and prevent serious complications, including death.

Vaccines don’t cause autism!

The vicious cycle of monopolization:

1) Corporations argue that their growth is just part of the free market.
2) Use their monopoly power to gouge consumers.
3) Take a portion of their profits to make political donations.
4) Lobby against antitrust enforcement.
5) Repeat.

At this point the DNC should ask Trey Parker and Matt Stone to be in charge. They showed more fight and backbone in 20 min than the Dems have in 10 years.

This an honest question because I just don’t get it. Why do so many #icecream places make their chocolate shakes with vanilla ice cream w/chocolate syrup instead of chocolate ice cream? Does anyone out there have insight into this situation that’s bothered me for the better part of three decades?

So I’m putting together some cabinets for our dining room. I tell my wife “I tightened the screws on the white rack thing”. My lovely wife responds, “you can’t call me that anymore”. Me: “call you what?” Her: “White Rack Thing” Me: 😯

You know, I'm just a lowly tech comms flack, but there seems to be one faction of Dems being screamed at/in hiding, and one faction pulling crowds like this. Maybe the latter should be in charge?
Tucson, Arizona today.

Original projected attendance was 3,000 people.

23,000 showed up.

We are so far behind other countries in infrastructure, absolutely depressing.
Distance between NYC and Miami is around 1200 miles. The trip on Amtrak's Silver Meteor takes 28.5 hours and costs $170 one-way.
It’s over 1,000km from Berlin to Paris

There’s now a direct daytime train between them, that takes 8 hours and costs just €59. Leave at 10am, arrive 6pm.

And… it’s just 1% the carbon emissions of the equivalent flight

The fact that an amateur golfer can win a tournament in the PGA and not have the money placed in a trust for them to receive it when they leave college is theft as far as I’m concerned. #NickDunlap just earned $1.5m beating out the best in the game and has to forfeit it since he’s an amateur.
