Remember: If we allow ourselves to fall into fatalism, or wallow in disappointment, or become resigned to what is rather than what should be, we will lose the long game.

The greatest enemy of positive social change is cynicism about what can be changed.

You think your pain and your heartbreak are unprecedented in the history of the world, but then you read. It was books that taught me that the things that tormented me most were the very things that connected me with all the people who were alive, who had ever been alive

Kemi Badenoch has said she does not believe one in four people are disabled.

I don’t believe Kemi Badenoch is a decent human being and capable politician.

We’ve all got our views, Kemi!

What doesn't kill you makes you… alive. It's okay if you're not stronger because of what you've been through. You can acknowledge the dents and bruises and cracks, notice the way your tears flow more easily now, how every loud sound is scarier. Sometimes being soft is the strength we have left.

The UK’s 50 richest families hold more wealth than half the population — 34 million people.

Yet the Prime Minister claims migration has caused “incalculable damage” to our society.

This is a lie. It’s billionaires wrecking our economy, our democracy & our planet — not migrants.

Just ask for help!’
Yet actually receiving help for either physical or mental health issues can take… forever.
Never mind that asking is nearly impossibly because feeling like a burden is so encouraged that we don’t feel we deserve help!

It baffles me that so many people who work in hospitals, in an industry where CARE is in the title, can be so rude and inconsiderate. Especially when someone is in crisis, pain, dealing with stress and scared.
