Kinktober is over, which means it's back on the BABELOMANIA grind. A big shout-out to @makevisualnovels.itch.io , who's made SO many shader effects for Ren'Py and, I mean: just look at what can be done with just ONE shader, and she's made like a dozen packs so far! (Link in reply) #vndev #indiedev

There's too many games is not the issue, the issue, imo as a developer is getting people to look at and then be interested to play my games and that's true to anyone that makes games, or books, or comics, or any form of media.
Outreach and getting eyes on it has been the problem.

Still on old Law&Order. They brought back Jamie Ross as a guest character, and the barbs she and Abbie Carmichael trade...! They're both very ethically driven, but come from very different places. Also, Carmichael is younger and hotheaded while Ross has a life outside of her work. Amazing tv!

Gotta say, Stripe customer service just straight up saying "we don't support the sale of any LGBT content" was not on my bingo card for this campaign. Hopefully this will be getting lots of attention from all over soon! Tell any journalists and rights orgs you know about it today!
Same during my call- the wording I used was “non-explicit, legal, non-adult LGBT content”, and I got back the response that “yes, stripe is blocking this. We’re a private company, we make our own rules about it.” Was hung up on when I asked why.

Call up whatever local LGBT organizations exist in your area, gay activist groups, gay bars, pride organizing committees, folks who schedule drag shows, queer church groups, everyone.
Also libraries and bookstores.

There's a recent surge of people saying go make your own website etc etc, but people also need to know that even if you host your website on free hostings and don't buy your own domain you can always make the website URL as your bluesky handle. And that's kinda fun

The plan was, for Episode 11 of #JPDE2, to add the Dating Sim System alongside a bunch of other stuff... But considering how complex the DSim ended up being? Not a good idea. This may be the most complex system I've ever made, akin to a strategy game I would say. #vndev #indiegame #RWBY
