As a parent of two kids in NJ public schools, this ROCKS.
NJ students in grades 6-12 will now learn about “the history of organized labor, notable strikes throughout history, unionization drives, and the collective bargaining process and existing legal protections in the workplace.”

This is genuinely so important, and so good to see. Jersey strong, baby!!
Proud to sign legislation today ensuring students understand the history of the labor movement and safeguarding the freedom of employees to make their own choices at work without coercion.

These bills reinforce our commitment to honoring the role of organized labor. www.nj.gov/governor/new...

In 2001, I was lead counsel on a class action case on behalf of so-called "comfort women"--sex slaves who were kidnapped from grade schools and town squares across southeast Asia, ranked by race, and forced to service up to forty Japanese soldiers a day in concentration camps--and this made me cry.
The term “comfort women” was a euphemism for South Korean women forced into military sex slavery during WWII. Use of the phrase has been criticized for minimizing the harm and gravity of Japan’s actions.

But given Trump's history, it’s no surprise he doesn’t understand. trib.al/Ly6uK0W

What this really confirms is how profoundly corrupt and indefensible Trump and Stephen Miller's handling of this has been all throughout.

Those of us commenting on this have argued all along that Trump *always* had the option of bringing him back and proceeding through lawful channels. 2/

New data shows No Kings was one of the largest days of protest in US history
The historic number of No Kings protesters and their expansive geographic spread are signs of a growing and durable pro-democracy movement.
