Attending a VFW meeting for the first time in years. As a Life Member, Ive just been too busy/never made time outside my little family.
With things like they are now, I felt I need to jump in waist deep.
I'm just not sure how the room is going to lean, especially in my MAGA heavy region.

How can past politicians, joint chiefs, intelligence officers, and presidents stand by and allow this to happen w barely a peep? We are watching the fall of American influence & democracy in real time. Why is there not a coordinated effort outside of @aoc.bsky.social or @adamkinzinger.bsky.social?

There needs to be a protest group for moderates. I went to the protest at my state capital last week and was immediately turned off by a Soviet flag flying and chants related to Palestine. Like I get that some of these groups have experience with organizing protests, but that's not why I'm there.
