If a shopping mall had pick pockets running around and took a cut of their thefts, they would be called criminals. Cell phone companies allowing scammers to roam freely on their network because its cheaper than stopping them is no different.

I remember what was probably an unban legend in the 1970s and certainly not true anymore, but it was that 50% of all American’s could trace an ancestor through Brooklyn.
All mine arrived through Brooklyn so it seemed reasonable.
