We silently held up ABOLISH ICE signs during the anthem, and security came to our seats and said if we didn't hand them over they would have LASD remove us from the game. I asked if it was the stadium rules, and security said it was the team's decision. So there's that.

It’s tough to tune in to the USWNT game today knowing this generation of players isn’t the type to make a united statement against the fascist violence we’re seeing in MN & all across the US. It’s just sad knowing that a lot of us used to feel a strong connection to the WNT bc of its brave activism.

okay you’re all going to hate me but i fear i would be doing the opposite, muting the crowd noise and keeping the announcers audio on 🫣 esp if it’s a sport/team i’m less familiar with, the announcers can be helpful and crowd noise sometimes gives me headaches
