the worst thing you can do if you have repeatedly asserted the process violates your rights is fail to show up to assert those rights.

Got an idea for a new tv show. We’ll have this powerful family. The syphlittic patriarch accidentally becomes president. Then all his kids battle for power when he dies. America suffers.

We’ll call it SUCKcession.

This is bad. Real bad. There are talented career attorneys who have no political beef with Trump who work there. Most of them work real hard against the really bad guys out there.

No one has the right to go around a Congressional mandate.

First (but not last) #SCOTUS ruling today is in Glossip.

For what is basically a 5-3 majority (Justice Gorsuch did not participate), Justice Sotomayor, joined by Roberts, Kagan, Kavanaugh, and Jackson, holds that OK death row inmate is entitled to new trial:

I don’t see any other electable candidate from the state GOP that isn’t hell bent on dismantling schools, courts, or all services. The St. Isidore case is a good example of what separates him from legitimately fascist interest groups. I don’t agree with everything he says, but he’s clearly better.

He’s a good guy. Way better than the alternatives next year.

Finally, it started with a traffic stop. This happens all over the country all day long. The big issue locally is why the heck the sheriff is doing this and what role they serve in local law enforcement. They have plenty to do, ranging from guns to major investigations to the jail. Traffic? Really?

was also calm and cool. He mainly just tried to help her understand what was happening. I don’t see anything wrong with that. No one else will get the mayor and a good lawyer helping them on iffy traffic stops. But I don’t see anything wrong with him being there and handling it the way he did.

Fifth, Mike Manning is just a good dude. Sen. Goodwin is lucky he was just happening by. He handled the whole thing with professionalism and decency and got her out of a bad deal. He’s one of the good guys.

none of the deputies even know who she is. That says too much about our body politic.

Third, Sen. Godwin should have handed over her ID. There’s no reason not to. That just made this worse.

Second, given the proclivity of the sheriff to engage in partisan politics, it’s hard not to question the motive here, although I don’t think this deputy was bright enough to single out Sen. Godwin. Its clear 2/

I finally watched the Sen. Goodwin tape. I have a different take.

First, why is the Tulsa County Sheriff’s office patrolling the Brady Arts area for traffic stops. For eternity, the state GOP has complied about waste and duplicate services. The City pays a lot of money to police that area. This 1/
