President Hernandez was responsible for smuggling 500 TONS of cocaine into the United States! He was the top dog; the Pablo Escobar figure! He wasn’t just “selling drugs in that country.”
Reporter: You have made so clear how you want to keep drugs out of the US—

Trump: Right

Reporter: Can you explain why you would pardon a notorious drug trafficker?

Trump: If somebody sells drugs in that country, that doesn’t mean you arrest the president

And that he intervened to make Andrew Tate's life easier.

I wonder how many sex traffickers Donald has gone out of his way to help that we don't know about.

The dramatic repudiation of Trump this week wrecks a number of absurd narratives the media has pushed lately. In the runup to the election, NYT pieces kept telling us Dems were overly obsessed with attacking Trump.

That dumb idea now lies in ruins. 1/

Troops to Portland? Illegal and absurd. But the absurdity is the point. Trump policy is to ignore real threats to US security coming from abroad and use the armed forces to pursue imaginary threats from within, thereby creating an atmosphere suitable for personal rule. (1/2)

After dismal job numbers out today, Trump will be even more keen to get his Nazi warship-loving, sexist, conspiracy theory-peddling edgelord EJ Antoni running the Bureau of Labor Statistics. I wrote about how authoritarians insist on juking the stats and how Antoni is part of that strategy, here:
The Despot's Guide to Job Statistics
Dictators routinely lie about economic growth. Trump just took a page from their playbook in appointing an unqualified, Nazi-admiring, January 6th hack to run the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
