Accidentally saved that last little WIP after flattening the image. Took a couple days to relax, and now I'm back on it.
It's somehow relaxing tracing over my own work, and I get to adjust the pose and anatomy.

Imagining alien physiology and anatomy is fun. Using convergent evolution as a model is also fun. If it works in nature, it's bound to be repeated.
Trying to puzzle together an alien skeleton is very challenging for my brain. I'm having a lot of fun with this linework.

Oh yeah. I almost forgot. I've been playing with color dynamics to build shapes and shading as I go, and it's sped things up a whole lot for me. Still have a ways to go with this harpy, but she's coming along; or going it seems.
