I have a question about Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories. Are there any major differences between the GBA and Re versions in terms of gameplay?

I'm about a month late, but after the Virtual Boy NSO announcement, I had to commission @kieranharris.bsky.social for another Switch shill-drone comic. This time, featuring @chaosqueensonia.bsky.social's Sally!
1st Part (Left): My persona as a red-and-blue Switch shill-drone showing Sally the Virtual Boy accessory. She says "Just give it a shot! You've nothing to lose!", and Sally says "But whay do I need to play the games?
