You know, it's kind of shocking how well I'm doing today, despite having had a bad night. This is the first week in 3 months... maybe 4 that I don't have to work more hours than in my contract (in fact, I'm working one less), plus having had two days off in a row.

So satisfying to stop at the train station I have to get off for work but not leaving the train.
I'd rather have theatre rehearsals every day and one work day than the other way round. Would just be as exhausting but way more fun (also more friendly people to deal with, which is nice).

You know you must have been truly awful patients when everyone from the head of the ward to the cleaning staff is relieved when you're discharged, with one nurse even doing a little happy dance once you've left.

Update: No comments fortunately but it feels swollen (but isn't) and drinking out of a bottle causes pain.
I'm a bit annoyed at the boy. He's lucky I miss him enough to forgive all his crimes once I'm home (still 4h to go).

But when I tried to clean his eyes later, he managed to hook a claw into my upper lip. Not only is it painful, it's visible.
