Coverage of the Disney-Doctor Who divorce talks about it being too woke for the Trump era, but as usual that’s a straw man from the anti-woke crowd. If RTD were making great stories the only people griping about woke would be the usual grumpy anoraks.

I just started watching Maigret, about an absurdly handsome, brooding British detective pretending (badly) to be French, and I honestly couldn't care less how badly they're mangling the source material, this is exactly why we should save public television.

People need to stop posting clips and memes with no verifiable source or background. That clip of ICE being brutal or Trump being a moron will have way more impact if it's credible and contextualized. We're no good to anyone if we're as gullible as the MAGAts.
