Yeah the portrayal of the Bajoran resistance is certainly sympathetic given the brutality of the Cardassians. If anything, DS9 even casts doubt on the role of the Federation as entirely good guys, because semi-benevolent colonizers are still colonizers. DS9 is probably the most woke ST.
