I've improved some. I still draw a lot of character portraits, sometimes furry, sometimes not. I like masks! I like hoods! I like pleasantly saturated colours.

The silly thing about this trip is the movie landed in theatres in OUR city, too, but we booked these tickets when it was the only nearby option and I did not want to miss.
So @timmcosfur.bsky.social and I accidentally get a fancy date with dinner, movie, and hotel with a pool.
No complaints!

This is the mildest illness to ever knock me on my ass. The worst symptoms were just basic aches and chills, plus the head cold sinus issues, but now that it’s on the way out…
oh my god I’m exhausted. I slept all day and I’m still exhausted. Can’t lift my head kind of tired.

Also gotta recommend Nicked by M.T. Anderson. I just finished reading it, and that was interesting, entertaining as hell, and really really cute. If you like historical fiction, it’s a delight.

In this year 2025, I'm pretending it's 20 years earlier and I officially started a basic website with a blog and an art gallery, intended for no other purpose than to have a house on the web.
I kind of missed this.

My communications/writing degree is a curse. Either I’m annoyed at people at work who can’t pass along vital data with any degree of competency or I’m getting into heated arguments about beloved (!!) fiction that nonetheless has a weaksauce narrative structure.
I am plagued by both sides.

Real talk: I’m actually impressed that I understand it all as quickly as I do. It’s just been so long that I’ve totally forgotten that you can FEEL when you grow a lot of new neural pathways all at once.

I’ve spent most of my life with almost no fingernails because of a bad habit of chewing them off. I’ve finally started kicking the habit, but now I REALLY keep messing up how I type on a phone screen.
I’m not used to having to aim where my fingertip lands so that it actually registers. Whoops.

I’ve been working for most of my holiday on completing Heinrich’s character/costume reference sheets. I got some money as a Christmas gift specifically to use to get a commission, and so I needed this done.
It’s almost there.
