Surely, it's more about who they think they can sell their products to?
I'm deaf and noticed a while ago that Specsavers audiology ads eventually got subtitles. Presumably because they weren't selling hearing aids because deaf people couldn't hear the ads rather than them being inclusive.

Yes, having tests will definitely make kids more keen on reading FFS. Providing money for school libraries and allowing more time for reading in class would be far more effective.
But if kids read more they might think for themselves. Can't have that.

This is outstanding. God knows what Labour is doing: legitimising the racism that'll be its undoing, losing the coalition which put it in office, trying to secure voters who will never support it, digging its own moral grave.
