I'm kinda ambivalent/borderline over Universes Beyond at this point but I really dislike the art treatments on cards that are just screengrabs from the media they're from. It was bad with the FF set and some of the ones from Avatar look awful. It's jarring because so much of the sets' art is good!

If you want some good aesthetic pieces to fight fascism with maybe don't utilize the technology pushed by people in bed with fascists and instead buy some art from the marginalized communities affected by both the fascists and the tech bros enabling them, idk, seems like a more consistent approach.

As someone who was a very edgy teenager, no, it is not and was not normal or expected to talk about how much you loved Hitler or make gas chamber/rape jokes.

Lies of P has some of the best Souls combat I've ever played but I am nearing the end of the base game and trying the DLC, and there is a noticeable fall-off in boss quality after Victor. Really hoping it rallies and that the DLC bosses specifically start being more fun, on the second and it sucks

Silent Hill f is absolutely stellar so far.
Like a lot of people, the combat is not my favorite though it gets better once you start to pick up on its nuances. But the game took an absolutely WILD turn last night in terms of plot and mechanics at about the 6 hour mark that has me fiending to play.

Not to be overly combative, but Silent Hill f is absolutely a Silent Hill game, as long as your understanding of the series goes deeper than “American Town“ and “rusted metal + chains”

Anders being almost completely removed from the post Dragon Age 2 games in the series and my interest in the latter games nosediving isn't a coincidence the more I think about it.
Inquisition's plot just... fails to grab me in any way aside from its companions and Corypheus is a huge part of that.

Silent Hill f looked strong from the trailers and the early buzz being largely positive has me very happy and more hopeful for this one.
I think getting away from the titular town might actually be good for the series in the long run so fingers crossed that it lands for me.

I don't think pointing out the fascists' 'hypocrisy' is a good use of time. It's not hypocrisy, it's hierarchy. They actually do believe that they have the right and obligation to dominate you because they are superior to you. They are using their power not being hypocritical.
